With Reiki treatments and the proper applications of Reiki positions, the energies are balanced and a new life quality is achieved. Through all of these, the Reiki hand positions play a vital role.

Once a Reiki treatment is conducted, the Reiki positions of your hands have to be properly executed. Doing it properly and mentioning ‘Reiki’ before starting, will let the individuals give the subjective feeling of heat, coldness or pulsation. Basically Reiki can be applied on others or yourself. Importantly are the right Reiki positions, which will differ from problem to problem. If you are not a Reiki practitioner, this article will give you an idea on how to deal with Reiki positions.

Basically the first Reiki positions for your hands are the face. Put your palms on the face of your client. Make sure that the palms should form a cup over the eyes while the fingers are on the forehead. There must be no pressure at all but only a gentle touch.

The second position includes the hand on the crown and on the top of the head. Both hands must be on the sides of the head whereas the heels of the hands are located near the ears. The fingertips must be able to touch the crown.

The third position is at the back of the head. Form a cross by using your arms. One of the hands must be on the head while the other one is above the neck’s nape.

The fourth Reiki positions include the heart and collarbone. Make a V-like shape with the thumb and fingers. You must be able to easily hold your neck via the V formation. Make sure that you lower one of your hands and have it resting in between the collarbone and the heart.

The fifth has something to do with touching the jaw line and the chin as well. Again, let your hands form a cup and let your chin rest in it. Let your hands wrap themselves on your jaw line. The sixth position includes your ribs. Put your hand on the upper portion of the rib cage and provide some support to the bended elbows. The other hand should be on the abdomen. Let your fingertips touch your tummy.

The seventh Reiki positions are at your pelvic zone. Gently put your hands on your pelvic bone and allow your fingertips to touch this area.

Then the eight Reiki position involves your shoulder region. Gently bend your elbows and arms over the head and touch your shoulder blades with your hand. While your elbows are bent, put your hands onto the center part of your back. Same Reiki positions will be applied when you treat a patient.

As the final position you will treat the lower back and the sacrum. Put your hands rest on either your or your clients lower back. Lower your arms and then place them on the sacral area and then keep a relaxed feeling.

The main purpose of Reiki positions is to activate the energy flow of universal life force and bring balance in the different body and chakra areas. The above positions include always a chakra which is positioned in that body and gland area. The reason is to activate through the proper energy flow the related body part. Do it through the right Reiki positions.

A Reiki Master Attunement separates Reiki from other energy healing modalities. Since the attunements are on the etheric level , there is no scientific explanation as to how and why they work, they just do.

To understand what an Reiki Master attunement is we first have to accept that we are all connected to one Source ” you might call it God or whatever you feel comfortable with. At the time we were born into this world we had a close connection to this source, the universe. But over the time of our education and adjustment to our social environment, our connection still broke, due to the misconception of the mass consciousness about the truth of our Being. As a result we were disconnected from Higher Realms. Now, here starts the concept of Reiki and its Reiki Master attunements. Being attuned is kind of like tuning into a radio frequency or station. It restores simply frequencies to Higher Energy realities, which brings in healing or restoring energies.

It also communicates the message to our subconscious minds that we are willing to take control of our lives, our health, and our spiritual well being, and we are going to do it with our own two hands!

After the Reiki Master attunement is transmitted, the only thing to be done, in order to practice Reiki, is to set the intention to heal and the energy will immediately starts flowing.

Reiki Master Attunement - possibility 1 What is the best way to give a Distance Attunement?

At the moment you receive a Reiki Master attunement, you are authorized to attune others into the same energy level. Naturally, there are many ways to transmit an attunement, but you’ll find the way you are most comfortable with. With a Reiki Manual and training you will receive from your Reiki Master, you will find hints on how to attune your students in several steps, including the sacred symbols, which represent different possibilities you will have with Reiki. Distant attunement means that your student doesn’t have to be there physically.

The connection will take place spiritually through your both Higher Self and exchange that energy level at a particular set time.

If you want to break down the transmissions into several levels, you have to set a clear intention on which level you want to attune. But in my opinion there is no need to split a Reiki Master attunement into level 1, level 2 and Master level. Some masters do it either to focus on 1 level alone or to make more money out of it. I, personally have great results in sending the complete Reiki Master Attunements in one session, regardless what level the person was at, from beginners to advanced. Sometimes, if people want to experience the Reiki energies, I give Reiki 1 separately. However, some people think it is easier to handle the energetic changes of the 3 levels when they are split up. I personally think that the Universe knows what each person can handle or not, so I leave it up to Spirit to decide what the person is ready for.

Reiki Master Attunement - possibility 2 Learn how to proceed a Hands-on-Attunement

A hands-on attunement is the same as the distance attunement, except the person should be physically present. Explain your client what you’ll be doing and that he should close his eyes and put his hands in the prayer position. You probably want to stand behind him to open his aura and place the symbols in the crown chakra. After that you can move to the front for the rest of the procedure. When you finish the Reiki Master attunement let him know that he should sit for a while to ground himself. The person might imagine, that roots coming out from his feet to spread into the ground. That will help, if your client might feel dizzy or even a little nauseous for some time afterwards. Explain him that what he is experiencing is a normal reaction to attunements. Before you begin doing hands-on attunements, I would recommend that you practice on a teddy bear or pillow to gain confidence. As with all skills, practice as much as you need to in order to feel more comfortable.

Reiki Master Attunement - possibility 3 How to do a Healing Attunement?

Transmitting a Healing attunement is a wonderful way to give an attunement to people who have no intention to learn or teach Reiki. They only want to be healed. Naturally you have to set a different intention to reflect the nature of the attunement. Your intention is to heal your clients. You might say, for example, “May this healing attunement work for (recipient’s) kidney pain and the energies I transmit will be integrated to his/her Perfect Health now. From day to day he/her feels better. So be it.”

Healing attunement are part of energy healing methods. The recipient will be attuned to your intention ” overall health, peace etc. Basically, it is also called Distant Healing.

Once you are a proud owner of a Reiki Master Certificate, it is your free choice to either charge or not to charge for Reiki sessions and attunements. Offering your services for free is a very loving gesture, but if you want Reiki to be your life’s work and need to be able to support yourself and possibly your family, you have to think it over and evaluate your overall situation.

As with everything, you do professionally, you will need knowledge, experience and confidence before you will feel like doing something that you love to do.

In my personal suggestion, try to start Reiki giving away free as trial sessions to friends and family to gain confidence. Clearly, you are not charging for the energy; it’s free for everybody. It’s your time and commitment to what you’ve studied that you are charging for. I started out giving Reiki by treating my family, coworkers and pets and also doing Reiki Master attunement. It was very fulfilling to share these free attunements, and it made a big difference in a lot of my friends lives - people who were not able to raise the funds for attunements but were eager to learn how to heal themselves and others.

Even now, several years and experience later, it is not a good idea, to prevent someone from a healing or attunement, even you are qualified with a Reiki Master certificate, because they don’t have the money at that point of time. Remember there is always the law of karma which says: do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. Thats just the Law it is and we’ll better follow it.

Reiki Master Certificate - Possibility 1

You can teach Others!

In my opinion, you should have plenty of practice and experience before attempting to teach someone else. Mainly, because your students will have questions and you should be able to help them. Another reason is, if you attempt to teach others before you have experienced Reiki and the energy which attached to it, you may be missing out on part of the big picture. Reiki is beautiful and one reason is in its simplicity. The concept of Reiki is one that can be easily grasped, but you have to learn through your own experience and awareness.

I have to mention that attunements can be transmitted, even you don’t have collected experience already. However doing attunements will help you gain knowledge into the processes involved in Reiki, both through your own feelings during the attunement procedure and through the attunees’ experiences.

My only intention to become a Reiki Master at that time was to grow spiritually and to expand my spiritual awareness. In this transformation process you gain so much knowledge, so that teaching others become natural. Teaching and expanding Reiki to as many people as possible has not always been my goal and desire, as I assume it is not for many of you. After reading many books on Reiki, receiving the attunements, doing hands-on healing sessions, and sending many attunements to other beloved ones, I still didn’t have the intention to be a teacher. Only when I asked my Higher Self in what I can do to help others to evolve, I started to bring Reiki to others. What a opening experience!

Reiki Master Certificate - Possibility 2

Why not becoming a Reiki Master Associate?

At that time you have completed all necessary the lessons and assignments to receive your Reiki Master Certificate, and if you develop the desire to teach others but not necessarily create your own learning material, there are always options of becoming an Professional Reiki Mastery Associate, which is beneficial because you can purchase a professionally accredited course handbook as an affiliate for your own students. You can charge your students as you see your value in supporting their studies.

You will be your students’ guide through the course, sending their attunements and answering any questions they may have. Once they have completed the assignments they will receive a customized, internationally accredited Reiki Master Certificate through any Professional Reiki Mastery Association.

If you intend to teach Reiki, but don’t want to create your own scripts and material, and wish to supply your students with an accredited Reiki Master certificate, becoming an associate or affiliate may be the best idea for you to consider.

A Reiki Master Course gives you as an introduction, insights on what Reiki is, who can practice Reiki and the importance of the Reiki principles.

Reiki can be described as multidimensional. It goes to the core of the imbalance in mind, body, or spirit, the nucleus of the cell, and then moves imperceptibly outward through the tissue balancing and thus healing.

The Reiki (ray - key) practitioner’s body is the instrument through which universal energy flows, drawn by the magnet of any imbalance in the mind, body, or spirit of the person, animal, or plant receiving.

Reiki Master Course Intro 1: What is Reiki?

In Japan, in the early 1920s, the priest Mikao Usui received Reiki as the way to make mind and body healthy on the basis of Universal Reiki. It is the vibration of love and harmony of universal energy. Reiki is not only a wonderful healing technique, but also an effective way to raise personal spirituality and to create a positive life in general. The Reiki intention is to bring all within and around the body into balance, surrounding with harmony, and thus healing the mind, body, and spirit. Many students and practitioner feel that Reiki is making such a positive difference in their life.

Reiki Master Course Intro 2: Who can practice Reiki?

The source of Reiki is from God, The Creator, Spirit, the Universal Mind, Your Inner-Self, or whatever you call Him, Her, or It, and as a result anyone can practice Reiki. We are all equal, and we have the ability to heal others and ourselves. In fact it is our forgotten birthright. But being a Reiki “Master” doesn’t make someone better than anyone else, and it doesn’t even mean that you have mastered the art of Reiki, which is not possible, it simply means that you have been attuned to the Master Level of Reiki, learned all of the Reiki symbols, and know how to send attunements, and teach others. In my personal opinion we should all be called Reiki practitioners, but since the attunements are only given and accepted from Reiki Masters, this is the only reason why there is a need of distinction. To some people, the title “Master” gives them a feeling of superiority or power, just like other occupations do.

Reiki Master Course Intro 3: The Reiki principles are very important!

As an important part of the Reiki Master Course you will learn the Reiki Principles, which the founder Usui always emphasized to his student. These principles are:

Just for today…

Be grateful. Do not get angry. Do not worry. Work hard. Be kind to others.

Think for a while. If only 1% of the human race would take these principles serious, how would be the world today?

If somebody feels the Inner call to be involved or to practice Reiki, a proper Reiki Master Training is essential to pass the three levels of Reiki experience or development.

The ability to do Reiki is not something that can be learned in the normal sense. Rather it is something which is activated or awakened within the individual through a process of Initiation ” what we call an Reiki Master Attunement.

This Attunement - the central focus of each Reiki Master Course Level or Degree - involves a special energetic transfer technique whereby the Reiki Teacher (Master) essentially re-patterns or re-calibrates the student’s etheric field & subtle energy centers.

Using an Internet Technology analogy, its a like transferring a specific data program, which enables the student to interact and work with the Reiki power. The Reiki master will download a copy of that program into your being, thereby enabling you to also interact and work with the Reiki energy.

Reiki Master Training Essentials - Attunements: How can you receive a Reiki Master Attunement?

The preparation for receiving a distance attunement is simple:

You will agree with your Reiki Master on specific time and date to transfer the energies. Once you arranged a time, you set at least 30 minutes set aside where you will be comfortable and free from distractions. It is up to you if you want to receive your attunement before or after receiving a Reiki Master instruction guide. Do what makes you feel more comfortable. In my opinion the Manual comes first.

However, about 5 minutes before the attunements start, you should sit or lay down in your comfortable area. There is no need to be on the phone or computer during the attunement, as our connection is made possible through Spirit /Source/God/ Goddess/ The Universe/ and finally our Higher Self. After getting comfortable, you should set your intention (affirmation/prayer) to receive the attunement. Then, simply lay back, relax , and enjoy the energy. That’s it !

There is nothing else you need, except you want to create a sacred environment. You might use candles and music to create a pleasant atmosphere while receiving the attunements.

Feelings: You may or may not feel anything physically but this does not mean that the attunement didn’t work. You have been empowered with a very special gift that you may need to work with for a while before the changes begin to take place. If you have time after the attunement, I suggest taking about 30 minutes to an hour to do a Self - healing.

Cleansing Period: The first 21-30 days after your attunement are what is known as your cleansing period. During this time, you may want to stay away from the following as much as possible: Red meat, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. You should also drink plenty of water each day and give yourself Reiki Healing as often as possible.

This part of the Reiki Master Training is the most exciting one. Enjoy it!

A Reiki Master Manual defines Reiki as a gentle, yet profound, non-invasive therapy, which can facilitate stress-reduction and relaxation, support effective immune-system function, enhance the body’s self-healing mechanisms, and replenish and nurture vitality.

You will also explore that Reiki can be effectively applied with other therapies, and is very effective to stimulate relaxation and recovery.

Rather than working only on the physical level, Reiki has an overall effect on all levels on ones being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

It can prove beneficial in the resolving of physical disorders, nervous conditions and emotional issues, and help nurture a greater sense of balance, well-being, and wholeness in ones life.

The Reiki treatments have no negative side effects, and no concentration on the part of clients is neither needed, nor expected.

A complete Reiki Master Manual contains 3 parts:

- Reiki 1 - Reiki 2 - - Reiki 3 Master/Teacher Level

Reiki Master Manual 1

What means Reiki Level 1?

In Level 1, the Reiki Master Attunement opens the students awareness of the flow of Reiki.

Traditionally, in Usui Shiki Ryoho the outer focus of Level 1 Reiki is on hands-on therapy at a purely physical level both for self-treatment and for treating others.

However, on the energetic level Reiki1 is about developing the chakra system and learning to become a clear channel for Reiki.

It is about learning to let go and let the energy flow - about learning to step out of the way - learning to override the desire of ones conscious mind to interfere in the therapeutic process, and instead, simply let the Reiki phenomenon ‘happen’.

The attitude should be one of almost Zen-like, compassionate, detachment: “Sitting quietly, ‘no-doing’, not seeking after outcomes, Reiki flows. If healing happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t - either way it’s no concern of mine.”

Developing this attitude early on will greatly enhance the quality of ones experience with Reiki.

Reiki Master Manual 2

What means Reiki Level 2?

As Level 1 opens the student to the awareness of the energy of Reiki, the Level 2 Reiki Master Attunement enhances the quality of that flow.

The student should have developed the attitude of ‘compassionate detachment from expectations’ at level 1, the Level 2 is adding a set of symbolic tools enabling them to ’set’ intentions - and broaden the scope of their therapeutic interventions.

Within the Level 2 manual and training, the student is introduced to a set of three sacred Reiki Master symbols, and is instructed in their use as a means of:

- enhancing the effectiveness of physical level treatment (both hands-on and on-contact- i.e. in the clients aura) - carrying out treatment at deeper psycho-emotional levels - performing distant or remote treatments - i.e. for people not physically present.

Reiki Master Manual 3

What is Reiki Level 3 ? Reiki Level 3 is commonly referred to as the ‘Master’ level, but can be more properly seen as the ‘Teacher’ level. The level represents the ability at which the practitioner will manifest the Initiation/Reiki Master Attunements to others.

This level’s Attunement brings a greater deepening of connection to the Reiki phenomenon.

The Reiki Master Manual practitioner is introduced to a fourth sacred symbol - the Master symbol, and is instructed in its uses, including its significance in the Attunement process.

While many people will choose to progress to Level 2 (- with its deeper energy connection and expanded healing techniques -) and eventually to Level 3 (the Master/Teaching Level), Reiki Level I training will provide all the basic awareness required to practice this special therapeutic art - primarily for self-healing, and also for treating others - family, friends, pets - even household plants.

For those attuned to it, and followed the Reiki Master Manual, the energy healing method that is called Reiki can, amongst other things, be utilized as a form of body-centred meditation. It can also, especially at the higher levels, prove an invaluable tool for spiritual growth, having a subtle yet profound effect on ones personal development.

Do you know how to become a Reiki Master? First we should start with why you should become a Reiki Master.

The actual 2012 Galactic Shift is an extremely crucial aspect of humanity, because we enter the cycle of the -so called - Golden Age, where humanity shifts from material behavior with all the visible distorted effects into a spiritual age, where aspects of love and joy rule.

What does it mean love and joy?

It means that we share our feelings and love without anxiety and the protection mechanism of our own ‘Wounded Child’. This will be laid out in all aspects of life - including the healing sector.

Health will not anymore be controlled by pharmaceutical interest or the selfish medical community which wants to hold the grip on the power of humans.

Humanity has given away its power for centuries - now we want to have it back.

Be responsible for YOUR life and guide and heal YOURSELF and Others.

What separates Reiki from other healing modalities are the Reiki Attunements. Since these Reiki attunements operate on the etheric plane, there cannot be a scientific explanation as to how and why they work, they just do.
To understand what Reiki attunements are we first have to accept that we are all connected to one Source [...]

What separates Reiki from other healing modalities are the Reiki Attunements. Since these Reiki attunements operate on the etheric plane, there cannot be a scientific explanation as to how and why they work, they just do.

To understand what Reiki attunements are we first have to accept that we are all connected to one Source ” you might call it God or whatever you feel comfortable with. At the time we were born into this world we had a close connection to this source, the universe. But over the time of our education and adjustment to our social environment, our connection still broke, due to the misconception of the mass consciousness about the truth of our Being. As a result we were disconnected from Higher Realms. Now, here starts the concept of Reiki and its attunements. Being attuned is kind of like tuning into a radio frequency or station. It restores simply frequencies to Higher Energy realities, which brings in healing or restoring energies.

It also tells our subconscious minds that we are ready and willing to regain control of our lives, our health, and our spiritual well being, and we do it with our own two hands!

After Reiki attunements are received, all that needs to be done to give Reiki is to have the intention to heal and it will immediately begin flowing.

Reiki Attunements – Tip 1: What is the most efficient way to give a Distance Reiki Attunements?

Once you’ve received Reiki attunements you have the key and authorization to attune others into the same level. There are many different ways to send Reiki attunements and eventually you will find the way you are most comfortable with. With the Reiki Manual you will receive from your Reiki Master, you will find advice on how to attune your students in several steps. This includes the transfer of symbols, which represent different possibilities you will have with Reiki . Distant Reiki attunements simply mean that your student doesn’t have to be there physically.

The connection will take place spiritually through your both Higher Self and exchange that energy level at a particular set time.

If you plan to separate your Reiki Attunements into levels, you have to set your intention to whichever level you want to transmit. In my personal opinion I wouldn’t suggest breaking up your Reiki Attunement s into any more than 3 levels, level 1, level 2, and the Master level. There are people who split up 5 levels! However, it is probably just to make more money. I have had great results from sending the Complete Reiki Attunements 1-3 no matter what level the person was at, from beginners to advance. The only exception I do is, I give Reiki Attunements 1 separately, if people want to experience the Reiki energies. Regardless, some people think it is easier to handle the energetic changes of the 3 levels when they are split up. But I bet that the Universe knows what each person can handle or not, so I guess you can leave it up to Spirit to decide what the person is ready for.

Reiki Master Attunement –Tip 3 How to proceed Hands-on- Reiki Attunements?

A hands-on attunement is the same as the distance Reiki attunements, except the person should be physically present. Explain your client what you’ll be doing and that he should close his eyes and put his hands in the prayer position. You probably want to stand behind him to open his aura and place the symbols in the crown chakra. After that you can move to the front for the rest of the procedure. When you finish the Reiki attunements let him know that he should sit for a while to ground himself. The person might imagine, that roots coming out from his feet to spread into the ground. That will help, if your client might feel dizzy or even a little nauseous for some time afterwards. Explain him that what he is experiencing is a normal reaction to attunements. Before you begin doing hands-on Reiki attunements, I would recommend that you practice on a teddy bear or pillow to gain confidence. As with all skills, practice as much as you need to in order to feel more comfortable.

Reiki Attunements – Tip 3 How to do Healing Reiki Attunements?

Reiki Healing attunements are a wonderful possibility to give an Reiki attunements to those who have no intention to learn or teach Reiki. First you have to switch your intention to reflect the nature of the attunement. You might say, for example, “May this healing attunement work for (recipient’s) stomach pain and the energies will be integrated to his/her Highest Good at that time. From day to day he/her gets better. So be it.”

Healing Reiki attunements are part of the energy healing concept. The clients will be attuned to your intention “to regain the overall health”. It is also called Distant or Absent Healing.

If you have a Reiki Certificate it is a free choice of a practitioner to ask money for Reiki sessions and attunements. To offer your service for free is a very devoted gesture, which is everybody choice. However if you’ll have to feed your family or yourself you have to think it over and evaluate your overall situation.

Naturally, even you have a Reiki certificate on your wall you will need knowledge, experience and confidence, before you start making a living doing something that you enjoy to do.

My suggestion is giving free trial sessions to friends and family to get started and gain confidence. It is clear that you are not charging for the energy; it’s free for everybody. It’s your time and commitment to what you’ve studied that you are charging for. Once I got my Reiki certificate I started out giving Reiki by treating my family, coworkers and pets and also doing Reiki attunements. Offering these free attunements was very fulfilling and I feel like I made a huge difference in a lot of peoples’ lives - people who did not have the money to pay for an attunement but wanted to learn how to heal themselves and others.

Even now, several years and experience later, it is not a good idea, to prevent someone from a healing or attunement because they don’t have the money at that point of time. Having a Reiki certificate is also a commitment to the Reiki lifestyle. Remember there is always the law of karma which says: do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. That’s just the Law it is and we’ll better follow it.

Owning a Reiki Certificate - Possibility 1

If you have a Reiki certificate you are qualified to teach others!

Out of my personal experience, even with Reiki certificate credentials, I would advise you to collect a lot of personal experience, before you start to teach somebody else. The reason, of course, is your students search for answers, and your ability to face them. The other point is your own experience with the Reiki energy. If you don’t get aware of the inner side of the Reiki energy, you miss out the most vital point in your whole Reiki journey. Reiki is beautiful and one reason is in its simplicity. The concept of Reiki is one that can be easily grasped, but you have to learn through your own experience and awareness.

Basically, attunements can be transmitted even you don’t have collected experience already. Practicing attunements will help you gain knowledge into the processes involved in Reiki, both through your own feelings during the attunement procedure and through the attunees’ experiences.

I became a Reiki Master to grow spiritually and to expand my awareness. In this process you gain so much knowledge, so that teaching others become natural. Teaching and expanding Reiki to as many people as possible has not always been my goal and desire, as I’m sure it is not for many of you. Even after reading many books on Reiki, receiving the attunements, doing hands-on healing sessions, sending many attunements to others, and owning a Reiki certificate, I still didn’t have the knowledge and intention to be a teacher. Only when I asked my Higher Self in what I can do to help others, I discovered my ability to teach Reiki to others. What a new experience!

Owning a Reiki Certificate - Possibility 2

If you have a professional Reiki certificate and want to supply your income, why not becoming a Reiki Master Associate?

At that time you have completed all necessary the lessons and assignments to receive your Reiki Certificate, and if you develop the desire to teach others but not necessarily create your own learning material, there are always options of becoming an Professional Reiki Mastery Associate, which is beneficial because you can purchase a professionally accredited course handbook as an affiliate for your own students. You can handle them their Reiki certificate and charge your students as you see your value in supporting their studies.

You will guide your students’ through the course, transmitting the attunements and answering their questions which might occur. Once your students have completed the assignments and learned all necessary steps, they will receive a internationally accredited Reiki Certificate by you or through any Professional Reiki Mastery Association.

If you have the desire to teach Reiki, but don’t want to create your own handbook, and wish to provide your students with an accredited Reiki certificate, becoming an associate may be the right option for you.

As we all know, energy healing which can be learned in a Reiki school is the future of balancing body and spirit and to enhance life quality of humanity. But it is also clear, that a Reiki school needs standards on which to build on the student’s knowledge. Otherwise everybody calls himself a master without being one.

The first principle a Reiki school will explain is that Reiki can be described as multidimensional. It goes to the core of the imbalance in mind, body, or spirit, the nucleus of the cell, and then moves imperceptibly outward through the tissue balancing and thus healing.

The Reiki practitioner’s body is the instrument through which universal energy flows. The energy is drawn by magnet resonance of any imbalance in the mind, body, or spirit of the person, animal, or plant.

So what are the essential parts and basics you will learn in a Reiki school?

Reiki School Course 1: What is Reiki?

Originating in Japan, and started in the early 1920s, Mikao Usui received and developed Reiki as the way to make mind and body healthy on the basis of Universal Reiki or life force energy. Reiki is the vibration of love and harmony of universal energy. It is not only a wonderful healing technique, but rather an very effective way to raise spirituality and to radiate a positive life. Reiki brings all into balance, creates harmony, and thus healing the mind, body, and spirit. Many students tell me, “Reiki is making such a positive difference in our life.”

Reiki School Course 2: Who has the ability to practice Reiki?

The instructor of a Reiki school has to explain why the source of Reiki is from God, The Creator, Spirit, the Universal Mind, Your Inner-Self, or whatever you call Him, Her, or It, and as a result anyone can practice Reiki. You will also learn that we are all equal, and we have the ability to heal others and ourselves. In fact it is our forgotten birthright. But being a Reiki “Master” doesn’t make someone better than anyone else, and it doesn’t even mean that you have mastered the art of Reiki, which is not possible; it simply means that you have been attuned to the Master Level of Reiki, learned all of the Reiki symbols, and know how to send attunements, and teach others. In my personal opinion we should all be called Reiki practitioners, but since the attunements are only given and accepted from Reiki Masters, this is the only reason why there is a need of distinction. To some people, the title “Master” gives them a feeling of superiority or power, just like other occupations do.

Reiki School Course 3: The Reiki principles are very important!

As a part of the Reiki School you will furthermore be exposed to the Reiki Principles, which the founder Usui always gave to his student. These principles are:

Just for today…

Do not get angry.

Do not worry.

Be grateful. Work hard. B

Be kind to others.

Think for a while. If only 1% of the human race would take these principles serious, how would be the world today?
